Be The Movement was founded in 2009 by Mayor Brian Maher upon the belief that our communities children are the most in need, and are also the most in need of a voice to reach others who don’t hear them call out. “Together Makes A Difference” is what we stand for when the time arises to be part of something we can change for the better. Our Third Annual Be The Movement Holiday Feast will take place on December 11th, 2-5pm at the Walden Ambulance Corps. We host this Dinner for local underprivledged children from various organizations such as Boys and Girls Club, local shelters, and School programs. The funds raised will go towards food for the event as well as gifts or goodie bag items the children will recieve to take back with them. Activities are supervised, and include team games like Gingerbread House build off, trivia games, and other various team activities. We want the children to feel included this holiday season and leave the event with life lessons they can use for future endeavors. We are accepting donations for this event and for our “Adopt Family” Program. It’s in our 3rd Year in providing relief to families in hardship at holiday times in the forms of: $10 Target Cards as Gift Bag Items. Amounts of $25, $50, $100 in Target Gift Cards or checks made out to Be The Movement, Inc. proceeds are used towards expenses of the event to make a difference at the Holidays, we thank you for your consideration.
